Advent … 98, 99, 100. Coming ready or not.

 1)      When is Jesus Christ coming again? We don’t know but we need to be ready.

 2)      What is He coming to do? He’s coming to judge, and we need to repent and believe.

 3)      What do we have to do? We are to watch for anything that would drag us away from Jesus, and we are to make our lives clean and pure as we put into effect each day His teachings.

We say to those who are baptised, “Remain faithful to Christ to the end of your lives.”

When we give them the candle, we say, “Receive the light of Christ; walk in this light to the end of your days.”

 “A long obedience is the same direction.”  Keep watch. Be ready.
