The purpose
of the Alpha course is to allow guests and team to explore questions of life
and Christian faith together. Some may come to faith and make a commitment.
Some may not. But that’s not its purpose. The course explores the Good News in
the scriptures and relies on the ministry of the Holy Spirit, which is the
focus of the latter third of the course.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and
opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
(Revelation 3:20).
