On Friday 17th March All Saints had its annual clean up in time for Easter. Fourteen people gave up their day to do all those jobs that need to be done at this time of year. We completed almost every job on our long list, and added a few more when we thought of them, we got rid of cobwebs, polished pews, washed chairs, shifted chewing gum from under pews, washed marble, cleaned umbrella stands, mended kneelers, swept the tower, removed wax from the carpet, washed windows and cleaned toilets, swept the vestries, cleaned the silver, dusted the organ, swept the nave, cleaned the kitchen and more...
